July 12th-14th Public Test: Conclusion

This evening we concluded the public test conducted from July 12th through the 14th. Throughout the course of the event a staggering amount of troubleshooting data was collected, which ultimately led to a number of major bug fixes and improvements in the server code. Now that we have an abundance of data and a fairly clear plan of action, preparations for the next event are already underway. The team would like to thank everyone for their patience and willingness to assist so much in this test; it did the project worlds of good. So, thank you SBEmu community!

As already indicated, preparations for the next event are presently underway and it can be expected in the next several weeks. Some internal discussion still needs to be had regarding what exactly it will entail (in light of the test), but there are some exciting ideas being bounced around and we intend for it to be both longer and more elaborate than the test. The team is hard at work and the exact dates of the event depend on how rapidly work progresses, but as soon as we have a date it will be announced. As Claymore put it, it will be soon "...providing all you hoodlums behave on the forums and let the Devs dev!"
