This is the only thing that my brain comprehended. Wow guys thanks for the update. This one little sentence meant more to me that the entire state of bane update!! Great job, this is the kind of **** us SBers are looking to hear.

I need some SB... if making this project open source gets me SB faster I'm all for it...

If there is anything I can do to help make SB come to fruition faster I hereby offer myself!

I am currently jobless, with no hobbies, all my friends are still in school (graduating early ftw?)

All I have is free time, give me a task!

You consider it "my ball syndrome", I consider it a good way to restore and preserve SB.
I am really going to agree with Romper....ok here it goes....

One other thing. Wouldn't access to the code open up all sorts of hack possibilities? Knowing what we do about certain members of the playerbase, wouldn't that be suicide for any server?

The whole point of open source is that people would find the hole.. and people would plug it...

Who are more likely to find a hole? a group of 10 people? or 1000?

Generally, open source software is more secure than closed software...

because no one in the SB community would ever try to sneak in subersive code that undermines the game and gives them a distinct hidden advantage....

SB boyscouts ftw!
